Community Spotlight Booth (Non-Profit Booth) Signup
Carnation Farmers Market provides booth rental for non-profit and government groups free of charge, subject to availability.
In 2023, more nonprofit groups applied than we could host, so to ensure availability for the 2024 season, it is advised to apply as soon as possible. However, if we have space, we can accept signups with a minimum of one week advance notice. Inquire with Market Manager Shana if there are any specific dates you want.
Purposes of Community Spotlight Booths:
- Build vibrant community by creating spaces where non-profits and government entities can engage in public outreach with residents of Carnation and the Snoqualmie Valley, and marketgoers can learn and connect with those organizations
- Connect marketgoers with helpful information and community services that may benefit them or someone they know
Community Spotlight Booth Policies:
- You must receive a confirmation email from the Market Manager before you can attend the Market. Do not show up at Market unless you have received cofirmation for that date. If you applied and have not yet received a confirmation, contact our Market Manager right away.
- Booths must be staffed from 3-7pm. Be fully set up by 2:30. Do not start packing up until 7pm because it gives shoppers the impression that Market is closing.
- Prioritization will go to non-profits with a strong membership base or involvement in Snoqualmie Valley and those with educational outreach related to sustainability, community, and health.
- The Market will provide a space under a roof or 10x10 canopy, and a 6ft folding table. Participants must provide their own chairs, booth displays, and pack out their own trash.
- Absences, late arrivals, early departures, and cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may result in future exclusion from the Market, unless there are valid extenuating circumstances. If you have to cancel, please give a minimum of 1 week notice so we don't advertise your upcoming appearance.
- Please refer to our Guidelines and Policies for details about set-up, breakdown, etiquette, and other applicable rules.
- Fundraising efforts (such as raffle tickets, t-shirt and cookie sales) require permission of Market Manager and shall be limited to appropriate items which do not compete with regular Market vendor sales, match the Market ethic of healthy, local, and organic, and are in accordance with the health code.
If you would like to request Community Spotlight Booth dates, fill out the following application. If you have questions, email Market Manager Shana Amador.
