Music on the Grass
Carnation Farmers Market features live music every Tuesday from June through August. Music is a vital part of the market experience, helping create a welcoming and lively atmosphere for shoppers, vendors, and neighbors alike. Our musicians help set the tone each week, making the market a place to linger, connect, and enjoy time together as a community.
Music Policies
Performance Schedule
• Set A runs from 3 pm to 4:45 pm. Musicians must be set up and ready to play at 3 pm.
• Set B runs from 5 pm to 7 pm. Musicians must be set up and ready to play at 5 pm.
What We Provide
• A 10 x 15 canopy
• Chairs, a rug, and access to power
What Musicians Provide
• All instruments and sound equipment, including a sound system
Compensation
• Solo performers receive $60 per set
• Bands with two or more members receive $100 per set
• To qualify as a band, a minimum of one hour must include two or more musicians performing together
Arrival and Check In
• Please check in at the Info Booth upon arrival. CFM staff will direct you to the music tent, parking, and restrooms
Cancellations
• Please notify us at least 48 hours in advance if you need to cancel
