Magic Chopsticks has been cooking up a storm since 2010, and joined the Carnation Farmers Market in 2012. They offer great food and enthusiastic customer service at their hot meal stand. Owner Suling Montgomery took over the business from a friend and renamed it using “magic” from the name of her former business, and chopsticks, referring to the utensils with which her customers enjoy her cuisine.
Suling especially enjoys making potstickers, pad Thai, and her spicy Szechuan noodles for customers at the Carnation Farmers Market. At Magic Chopsticks, you’ll also find barbeque pork buns, which you can order either baked or steamed, and beef and vegetable filled egg rolls. There are plenty of vegetarian offerings too: there’s the spring roll bao, sticky rice in a lotus leaf, and vegetarian egg rolls. All of the ingredients in Magic Chopsticks’ offerings are fresh—the noodles are ordered directly from the factory to ensure just that. Suling picks up vegetables at market for her potstickers and pad Thai.
Suling’s favorite part about her work is running her company, and she has fun making friends with her down-to-earth customers and fellow vendors at the Carnation Farmers Market. At our small-town market, Suling enjoys the great music she gets to listen to on Tuesday afternoons, and looks forward to the variety of sounds from week to week. Stop on by and try something new at Magic Chopsticks, and put their friendly service to the test.
